The historical context refers to the circumstances and incidents surrounding an event. This context is formed by everything that, in some way, influences the event when it happens. A fact is always tied to its time: that is, to its time. John Hogg of Brixham, Devonshire, where, in the company of three or four children of the same age, he studied until he went to university. In 1846 he enrolled at Trinity College Cambridge and graduated from BA in 1850.
