Lily felt herself break. "Killer!" she hissed at Norlan. "Murderers!" she shouted at the crowd. "All of you, I will bring your world down!" She stood up and stepped back onto the lip of the cliff, the wind tossing about her hair and dress. "I will bring you all down."
Norlan shouted at Lily, but she did not hear. She inched back with her heels over the edge of the cliff and jumped.
