As a result, she is now the last of the Forest Fae. The forest peoples' very existence depends on her, or they will all perish. That's uppermost in her mind until her circumstances change.Bree must flee the village she grew up in, with her brother, Brannon, and her unborn child. She must keep them hidden in the forest, and safe the wicked Laird of the Castle. If he were ever to find them, he would take her son, and more harm would come to her. They make a home in the middle of the forest, an enchanting place with everything they need to survive. She feels the magik there and is mindful of the ferocious beasties. But, when her brother returns with an injured knight, Breesta's world is upended, and she soon feels something other than kindness toward him. Join them all in a world of Castles, Knights, Faeries, and Magik. And... don't forget Evil. Where there is Magik, there must also be evil!
