Top 100 Films is a labour of love dedicated to quality cinema. In the book each top 100 film is delved into without giving a blow-by-blow synopsis while exploring auteurs, film history, film movements, each film's strong-points, techniques used and trivia that aims to be informative, interesting and original; a selection of educational material with fun facts for film buffs if you will. Moreover, there is a glossary of film terminology followed by a bibliography of some of the film-related books and websites cited in the book, as well as a recommended reading section re books read/ referenced by the author over the years. Daniel holds an MA in Film Theory from University of Westminster, designed a Film Studies module that has been taught at UEL, where he also obtained his BA, majoring in Film, he has programmed classic cinema and worked front-of-house at arthouse cinemas. He had begun as a runner at Ealing Film Studios followed by stints at production and distribution companies in SOHO. Daniel's day job nowadays is as an English Teacher and, thus far, he has written and self-published four teaching books.
