Convinced young Lucinda Morgan has a special stone that bestows magic powers, King Norval falsely accuses her family of stealing and puts them in the dungeon. She may buy them out of there for many gold bars - or the stone that he refuses to believe she does not have.Lucinda sets off to find work to earn the gold. She is hired as assistant to the good witch Madelena in a neighboring kingdom.
