Publisher's Synopsis
LT Brady Saylor finds himself leading a small group of crash survivors on an alien planet, 28.4 lights years from Earth. Testing a new drive system for Mars Command, the crew of USSF Caroline are projected 20 light years away from their target system. With the commander dying in the crash, LT Saylor must keep the other four survivors together and find a refuge from the planets many dangers until rescue can arrive, if it arrives at all.
