You begin with a main idea in the center. It could be, "Birthday Party" or "Product Launch" or "Love Poem." From there, you add sub-ideas in the ovals and then break those down further into smaller details. The person mindmapping may draw additional branches and spaces on if they want to keep exploring further.

This journal paper is a neutral wide-ruled paper with a line at the top for date. The date line automatically defaults to the left or right depending on which side of the book the page is printed on.
