Publisher's Synopsis
It is very normal for a little boy to have imaginary friends. Of a fact, as a child, we all had imaginary friends that we named after whatever we liked then. For you, your imaginary friend could have been named Flora, Ben, Helena, Joe, etc.,
But when a boy decides that his imaginary friend would be named Adolf Hitler, then you need not be told that that child had been fed too many lies by his society. This was exactly the story of young Jojo who grew up to learn that Adolf Hitler was his friend and the Resistance were his enemies. But in the course of trying to serve his land during World War II, Jojo went through some things that changed his belief for good!! In Jojo Rabbit, we learnt that hatred is taught and not an innate thing. And with the right knowledge, we can rid our hearts of hatred!!! Join us as we take a walk with young Jojo as he tries to forge a new path for himself after finding out that Hitler wasn't his friend and that preparing game meals is better than fighting battles!!!
