Publisher's Synopsis
There haven't been any Biblical prophets for thousands of years, have there? According to the vision that visits Barry and Taylor Cohen, there have been false prophets, prophets who were real but not recognized, and a few real prophets who did what they were asked to do. The vision tells the couple that they are not the first, nor will they be the last, and their mission is to save the world and the people in it. Tall order! Barry is a manufacturing jeweler and Taylor a publicist. Neither are particularly religious, but they find they can perform miracles which help people remember the lessons of the Old Testament. They compose Ten Truths which meet with the vision's approval. Their task is to tell these truths to the religions of the world, but not everyone wants to listen. They find, to their peril, that religions have traditions, rules and hierarchies that resist change. They earn the backing of powerful friends and a few enemies who may be just as powerful. Being a prophet in the modern world is a tough job, but somebody has to do it. Somebody has to save the world.
