Ted Armitage has been kidnapping lone women in the Twist Valley area for years, taking them back to his remote farm and putting them through a series of tests. If they pass, they get to go home to their loved ones, but if they fail, they meet a nasty fate. So far, no-one has ever passed, but Ted insists that this isn't his fault. The women just need to listen to him and do what he says. They just need to realize that he's trying to help them.
