Publisher's Synopsis
Sunny is missing.
It's the groovy summer of 1970 and fourteen-year-old Glow and his friend Meadowlark waved good-bye to sweet Sunny as she left a protest march in Washington, DC to find peace and joy in California. But when her postcards stop coming, Meadowlark enlists Glow to help find her. As Glow searches for Sunny and marches with antiwar protesters, meets with Vietnam veterans, experiences life with hippies in a mellow California commune, and infiltrates a possible cult, he struggles to form his own opinions about war, love, and his place in the world.
