Publisher's Synopsis
Perfect tranquility had darkness lurking beyond the hedge. The wispy little girl's back yard connected to the yard of an evil predator disguised as a harmless old man. Her psyche was shattered. The trauma never disappeared, so it was eventually passed on to the next generation.
We make decisions based on how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. The author made poor decisions as a result of her mother's mental illness brought on by early childhood molestation. Through the power of God and His indwelling leadership, she eventually overcame this tendency. In relating her troublesome journey, which included the death of her child and her husband, she has been able to turn and offer comfort to others. (2 Corinthians 1:4)
