Years ago Charlie Brooker, the Shadowman, gathered all the meta-humans and went into hiding. The Puratist movement went from legal harrasment to outright violent assaults in their dealings with the meta-human population in their efforts to take control of the country. Now after the Puratists have control of the country Shadowman has returned to see if humanity deserves the aide of his people, people with special abilities. Will the meta-humans help humanity or will they leave them to the mess they helped create.
