In This Book of poems and thoughts you will find pain, love, passion, transition and transparency. When your heart is broken it's hard to see past the pain. Many of us get stuck in the trauma and live our everyday lives like it never happened. It's especially difficult if you know the pain was caused by your own hands. Many believers in God don't move past the pain, self pity, and shame. Thinking they don't deserve the love of God or to heal. You must! Heal! He can fix the broken vessel you are and use you for far greater. Stop letting the enemy continue to lie to you. Wait on God, your promise that He gave you is coming. Many of these poems were written in the darkest season of my life. I thought I wouldn't survive the pain. I knew the choices I had made to get there. I wouldn't let myself feel or heal. I kept God at a comfortable distance. I was scared to see my own reflection. I'm now, just a year later after beginning to write, publishing this book, free and renewed in this new season God has prepared for me. Because during that dark winter season I didn't give up my faith in Him. I fasted, prayed, sought His face and served all while in pain. In that season, I thought my life was over! Who would want a single mother with nothing accomplished in her life, But then God Said! My life wasn't over, that He had more for me, a life more abundant and that all the promises He had for me were still waiting for me! As long as you are walking in accordance with His word and will, breakthrough is coming! There is Love, Joy and Peace After Heartbreak !
