Publisher's Synopsis
After several years of being incarcerated, Demond finally has his freedom. However, while Demond is out on the streets, several family members are being harassed and imprisoned due to Detective Groves' longtime grudge against the Nilknars. He would do anything to get them off the streets. As if Demond's team being off the streets wasn't enough, a disaster hits the city killing hundreds of people, leaving the city destitute and in turmoil. Having that much animosity is not always good for the soul.
With cocaine being scarce these last couple years, the streets are drying up fast. Still, when you have the demand for product, you must have the supply. To be able to have supply, you need a connect, but connections are scarce and limited. An enormous favor is called in from behind the caged walls that would put Demond back on top, and streets would become flooded once again. But still be mindful of Detective Groves' close eye on him. Along with an unexpected release, Nut being able to infiltrate a notorious Cartel with the promise of wealth, sex, and infamy. People are willing to do anything and risk everything for its riches. By reason of Detective Groves' unrelenting pressure to put the Nilknars away for all eternity, Hawk feels closed-in, not wanting to face imprisonment, he decides to become legit and started a business of his own. With the hopes of Demond and Rylo joining the business, but they lived for the hustle. They feed off playing Russian roulette and staying a step ahead of the law and opps. Could they ever live a legit and legal life? Or do the street have that strong of a hold on Rylo and Demond?
