Blakely Reynolds has been saved by her sister, rescued from humans who sought to hurt her in unimaginable ways. There's only one issue with her rescue; Briar wasn't in time to save Blakely's mate as well.

He wakes in a prison, isolated but brimming with determination to find a way out and rescue his mate. With the help of his jackalope and his abilities, Jagger manages to escape.
