A RUM DO is a comic adventure set in Barbados.
Bob is on holiday, and trying to have a reasonable time with his unreasonable wife, a collection of strange hotel guests and an odd hotelier or two.
But major things are afoot.
People disappear, or simply fall asleep. Curious fishing trips are arranged. Cars explode, covert meetings are held in dark places. And who is Jocasta Smear? All roads seem to lead to a broken-down house deep in the pallid underside of Barbados.
Bob investigates, because no one else seems to think there is anything wrong.
He has to establish what's going on quickly. Before chapter seven.
