Police investigator Petrina Pappas is summoned when a body is found at the ancient Acropolis in Rhodes.
The case starts with no shortage of witnesses trying to help. At least until the body disappears. Just trying to find the dead body again ignites a whirlwind of trouble for Petrina, and everyone else involved. Witnesses quickly turn into suspects, but when the dead actress shows up alive, not all is forgiven or forgotten.
Then a dead body is found in the exact same spot the next day, turning everything in Petrina's case upside-down. Treating witnesses as suspects, no one is above suspicion in this murder mystery full of liars.
