The Royal Flush Murders
A Wes Oakley Action, Adventure Novel
Volume 15
When the corpse of a beautiful young, Nez Perce Native American lady named Shania Kasa is found on the high cliffs above the Big Wood River by hunting and fishing outfitter Wes Oakley, he is asked to help find her killer.
On Shania's stomach was a playing card, the Ace of Hearts.
Oakley quickly determines that there will be more murders soon. Wes also surmises that the Ace of Hearts is the first card of a royal flush hand in poker.
As more cards, the King, Queen, Jack, and Ten of Hearts are left on the victims many people believe the murders will stop when a royal flush has been completed. Oakley disagrees.
Murders follow in Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
While others take a sigh of relief that the killer is done with his, or her, dirty work, Wes Oakley thinks otherwise and keeps trying to determine the killer's pattern of carnage.
More murders, and more playing cards on the victims, resume with victims taken in Flagstaff and Phoenix, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Casper, Wyoming.
Will the killer stop at a ten count? Oakley knows better and gears up for a final showdown with the killer as he, or she starts a new Royal Flush poker hand in Hearts.
When will it happen? How many more beautiful, young ladies will have to perish at the hands of the killer? Where will the killer strike in the future?
Or, will he stop his, or her nasty habit and no longer commit the crime of murder?
Or, will the killer simply change locations and move to another region of the United States to carry out his, or her evil plan, and more royal flush poker hands?
Only Wes Oakley knows when and where the killer will next strike, as he has solved the riddle of the killer's pattern of elimination.
