Publisher's Synopsis
Raquel is released from the Witness Protection Program and can't wait to see her daughter, Taya. She plans to travel to Florida for their reunion when a global event changes everything. A stranger answers Taya's phone and Raquel realizes something has happened to her daughter.
Unable to reach her estranged parents, she gets in touch with her mom's long-time friend, Jean. The two women, thrown together by desperate circumstances, begin a dangerous journey as the planet spins out of control.
They look for a safe place to wait out the chaos that reigns and hope to make it to their destination without falling into the wrong hands.Raquel is determined to be with Taya again but in order to do that she must resolve an issue from her past.
