For the last wailer witch, the otherworld is a dangerous place. Orphaned at a young age, the most powerful witch in the world hides from a secret society that hunted her family to extinction.
However, all fledgelings must join Drachenburg, or risk death. She chooses to risk life at the school, despite her ancestors' wishes. There she meets ethereally beautiful faeries and frighteningly violent werecats. But most terrifying of all is her Avalon friend, whose mild countenance masks true savagery.
