Publisher's Synopsis

God 0005 has been assigned a new sector of the galaxy. The creation of the planets is an artistic achievement of which they are justly proud. With no one to share his time with he thinks up some angels for company. While creating the last one he gets distracted and it doesn't come out as planned. Short, balding and wings asckew it's not one of his best works. There something appealing though in it's humerous eyes and unswerving devotion. He's called the runt and though he screws up alot he's always forgiven and what he messes God usually considers an improvement. The other angels become jealous and when God is called back to the Godhead to report on the current status the angels take the opportunity to make the runts life miserable. As an escape he dashes to earth and finds a profit for God. He's chosen well and God sends him on other errands when he returns which he handles in his own unique way. Trouble brews when Satan tries to take control but God, the runt and Gabriel work together to turn the tide. With Satan and his rebellious angels on earth and stripped of their powers. The Runt begs to be allowed to live on earth as a person and see if he can bring people to God too. Arriving as a child he preaches and grows until as a man he faces his biggest challenge yet. Nebudchanesser who has Satan as his advisor. When the runt preaches there Satan locks him up and tourtures him trying to get him to turn from God. Even though the runt retains his powers he refuses to use them allowing people to see his faith despite the tortures. Nebudchanessar calls a halt at last and the runt is dispatched home where a suprise is waiting him.
