Grace Germaine is unhappy living a sheltered life under her rich parents. When her condescending, selfish boyfriend proposes to her, Grace has had enough and she decides to leave for a little retreat to find herself. But when her car breaks down in the small town of Dream Heights, the only person that is able to help her is a rugged mechanic with an attitude problem. Even though neither of them want anything to do with each other, they reluctantly decide to join forces and help each other out. Through their ups and downs, Grace learns the value of hard work and Easton realizes that there is more to Grace that meets the eye. As their friendship grows, a surprise visit from Grace's ex-boyfriend causes trouble and makes Grace and Easton ask one question: do they really belong together?
