Publisher's Synopsis
It's October.
Food is scarce.
But the raven knows.
Soon there will be far too much to eat.
Blood will once again flow across these streets.
Blood has always flowed through the streets and alleyways of The Old Town. People have fallen in the mud and mixed their blood with the dirt. Then came stone, gravel, and asphalt. Everything that has happened is buried between the paving stones. If you listen closely enough in the alleys, you can hear echoes of the past.
The Old Town was dangerous and deadly like the dark river that ran through it. For a group of young people who had forever listened to whispered tales, Old Town was exciting and intriguing. A place to drink and dance, away from the glare of their parents. A place to meet handsome strangers or beautiful women. The music from the bars and cafes would reach out to them like a siren's song. It promised excitement, adventure, and danger. It promised to share its secrets with them but some secrets should stay hidden.
When the Old Town opens up to you, you will never be the same again.
Join Author Emil Haskett and a cast of complex characters as we encounter strange creatures and ancient evils. Will they escape with scars that tell the stories of their adventures or will they become part of those blood-filled streets?
