Publisher's Synopsis
This title, the third in the biennial series, offers a critical survey of late-1990s landscape architecture and urban planning projects. It enables professionals, clients and other interested parties to keep up to date with the latest developments in the disciplines that shape regional development in the Netherlands. A selection committee chose more than 30 projects that are exemplary in their field: from dune garden to cemetery and from botanical garden to airport. The project selection is accompanied by an overview of the plan production, and in addition there are seven short analytical essays dealing with contemporary themes and issues.
