Publisher's Synopsis
Cass has been having a terrible time since she saw that car on the dirt track that cuts through the forest in the middle of a downpour with a woman at the wheel who was murdered later that night. Could she have down something to prevent it? Her husband would be furious if he found out she took that way home. She could have been killed as well if she had stopped to help. Since then, however, she has begun to forget practically everything, including where she parks and why she bought a baby carriage if she doesn't have kids. The only things she cannot stop thinking about are the woman she could have saved, the guilt she feels, and the strange sensation that she is being watched.
