This book is the catalogue to a major exhibition at the Reina Sofia National Art Museum in Madrid, Spain. Horacio Fernandez, author of The Latin Ameri- can Photobook, is one of the most renowned and influential writers on this field, he is a photo historian, curator and author of books. He teaches history of photography at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cuenca, Spain since 1988 and from 2004 to 2006 was commissioner general of PhotoEspana. He is cur- rently the photography consultant for the Reina Sofia National Art Museum.
