Edvard Munch's (1863-1944) letters, notes, journals and a number of other documents have always been a key wellspring for the appreciation of his exceptional art. Munch's literary journals and notes on art have qualities that make them artistic expressions in their own right. To accompany the launch and the museum's exhibition, the comprehensive book eMunch.no -- Text and Image was published, consisting of thought-provoking essays by 15 scholars.
