Sarah and Eddie have an instant connection and fall in love. Sarah feels as though her life has begun at last. And it's reciprocal-Eddie seems to have been anticipating her as well. Never before has Sarah been so sure of anything. She has no reason to distrust Eddie when he departs for a previously planned vacation and says he will call from the airport. He doesn't call, though.
