People often say that Beartown is too unremarkable, a small town deep in the woods that doesn't have any extraordinary natural beauty or any great people. It seems predictable that even if one day Bear Town completely dies out, everyone will not notice it. If there is anything different, it is that their junior ice hockey team is about to participate in the national competition, and they really have the opportunity and strength to win the championship. All the hopes and dreams of the town rested on the shoulders of these teenage boys. And the hopes of carrying an entire town quickly become a burden, fueled by an act of violence just before the semifinals, when the trauma of a young girl rocks the town. All residents will face the most important choice in their life.
