While reading his book, Toby embarks on a truly magical journey with spiky-haired Boy-square, jolly purple Girl-circle, and little Dot-a sad dotted spot who feels rather lost.

With a little help from his long-lost friends, Dot learns that even the smallest things can be the most important things and everyone has value in their own unique ways. When discovering his own self worth, Dot realizes that we all belong and we are all significant, even when we don't feel that we are.
