Publisher's Synopsis
This story brings together well-known characters from classic children's stories to create a new story in an everyday context. This story is all about the need to get along with others. Three characters considered "good" express unfriendly sentiments toward one of their friends, who is traditionally the "bad" one in stories. During recess, the three little pigs and Little Red Riding Hood get to talking. Little Red Riding Hood says that she'll be a firefighter when she grows up and will soak the wolf with her hose. One of the pigs says that when he grows up, he'll become a police officer and put the wolf in prison. Another little pig says that he'll be a magician and make the wolf disappear using magic. Finally, the third little pig says he'll become a farmer and poke the wolf's backside with his rake. The little wolf hears this conversation and starts to cry. It's not fair that his classmates want to hurt him!
