Publisher's Synopsis
The need to analyse the various leadership styles of African heads of states was done in order find out what value they have added to their countries in general and to the African continent as a whole. It is very clear from the study that African leaders are brutal by nature, greedy, and do not care much about their own people. They cheat, steal and externalise foreign currency. They also destroy the infrastructure they inherited and sent their children to overseas expensive private school at the expense of their countries. It is clear from the study that African leaders once elected to power; they glue themselves to the thrown until they are too old to rule. The word corporate governance does not exist in most African leaders. The time has come for African leaders to at least adapt what we have seen as the true democracy in developed countries. Sometimes we Africans feel ashamed to be Africans because of the inability of our African leaders to lead by example. Once in power 99.99% of African leaders get drunk with power to the extent that they are prepared to kill their own citizens in order to maintain the status quo.
