Publisher's Synopsis
Tim Lovecraft has been sent to the small town of Abomination to investigate an agent who has mysteriously disappeared after submitting a large number of highly suspicious claims.First on the list is a mauling at a werewolf safari park and petting zoo that is staffed entirely by ex-cons and run by a man with a checkered past and a raging Narlune addiction. Next is a total (and supposedly accidental) exsanguination at a craft blood brewery run by twin satyrs who are not as diligent as they should be about how they source their primary ingredient. And last but not least is a possessed vehicle rampage at a drive in/used car lot/hot tub emporium run by a man who isn't really a vampire but likes to play one on TV.As he begins to look more closely into each, Tim starts to get the impression that things in Abomination are not remotely what they seem. Menaced by demon gangsters and a sex-and-musical-theatre-crazed succubus, Tim quickly realizes that he may have made a mistake in leaving the big city - and sinister municipal forces are determined to make sure that he never returns. The third book in the Demonic Indemnity series is another madcap reminder that in supernatural insurance, everyone can hear you scream because it's part of the job.
