Publisher's Synopsis
A strange ghost-like figure appears out of the shadows of the dying campfire as the Foster twins and their cousin are camping in the Ozark Mountains above Moore's Lake near Heber Springs, Arkansas. Akiela, the mysterious man of the mountains has come to warn them about evil men in the area of the lake. The mysterious stranger seems to be able to disappear and re-appear at will. He is very tall, and pale, his long white hair flows to his narrow shoulders. His eyes burn like coals of fire with agitation and displeasure at what is happening to his beloved mountains and to beautiful Lake Moore.
