Alexander Mikhail LaSalle Borland was born a Prince, an heir to two separate Thrones both which his ancestors had put aside in favor of a democratic or republican form of government. And the Protectorate of another world. Like his mother and ancestors before her, he joined the Federation Fleet, but instead of taking the Command path, he chose Intelligence. But because of an anomaly discovered at the edge of known space, Alexander found himself leading a search for answers many were afraid to learn. Answers that would confirm or deny the existence of an unknown alien race who had been kidnapping humans for eons.
