The mega mall is now ruled by mega monsters.
As smart as DeJuan is, he just doesn't get sarcasm. But he gets the danger they are in as the passenger jet he is on circles continuously above the Mall of America. It can't stay up forever, but there is no place left to land.
Below in the mall, Bill, Robin, and Joel are night security guards just trying to get through their boring shift when gunshots are fired. The murder of one of their own is shocking enough, but then they watch from the crime scene as a stegosaurus flees from a rex. They are left wondering what just happened to their world.
