Publisher's Synopsis
The premise behind A Primer on Structure and Protocol is as the title suggests: "a guide for fellowships, prelates, protocol officers, and certain other pastors." A primer is a textbook created broadly for teaching or presenting some of the basic elements of a subject. The impetus to write this book came from things I have observed in the past few years that created in my spirit the burning need to be the "iron that sharpeneth iron." I love the Body of Christ, and want to see all of its servants succeed; and avoid the pitfalls that have toppled - or nearly toppled - other Fellowships, including the place where I currently serve. Even though the approach to each topic/chapter in this book might seem to have been hypothetical, everything I have written has been based on something I've observed, firsthand. The recommendations originated with the basic question, "What would *I** do, in that situation?" Writing them down, my objective was to provoke you to ask the same question. If the end-result of this book is that we end up with better "Fellowships" - LEGENDARY Fellowships - then we will have done what we set out to do.
