Welch has just been banished from the world of the monsters. A lone zombie, wandering the Overworld with only his trusty sidekick seems like a terrible fate. Luna, Welch's faithful pet cat is pleased to start a new life. He was not fit for the monster world, but can Welch fit in anywhere outside of the monster community?
Determined to start his new life, and continue making the discoveries that got him banned from the zombies in the first place, Welch sets off to see if he can make a home for himself in a faraway village. Disguises, new experiences, and an energetic cat keep Welch on his toes as he attempts to keep the villagers from discovering his new identity. Can he succeed in fitting in, or will the fact that he is a zombie have him forced out from the home that he, and Luna, have come to love.
