In the world of Asylum the future has weapons that humans can reproduce but they don't understand. The slip sword, shield generator, holo computer, hover technology, are all things historians of the twenty first century assumed men built. They did not. There are weapons that cannot be reproduced but leave their mark on history such as the African Guardian. If men did not develop this technology...then who did? The short answer is...the elves did. Narnia, John Carter, and many other wonderful stories have humans traveling to far away worlds, having great adventures, and in many cases, rising to become a hero! In the "Elf Princess" the formula is flipped on its head. A small group of elves have been hiding on earth for awhile and they send their princess out into the human world. She does not encounter talking animals, magical beings, or alien creatures...but she does learn about things such as high school and cheerleading. Yet an ancient evil has followed her to this new, primitive world, and he is hunting her! To make matters worse there is another evil being in the city called "the goblin" that seems to be a villain from the pages of a fantasy story and not a rational world. As she faces these threats she finds an human ally named Myth, who is also mysterious, and claims to come from the future. But how will even the powerful Myth do against an immortal assassin and a dread creature that has been alive for six thousand years?
