Publisher's Synopsis
Head of firm Donna Regan is running scared. She has been double crossed by the police who she's been paying to turn a blind eye to her activities. Her sister April is estranged from her, and a number of the men on her firm have turned on her. Terrified of being arrested, Donna keeps moving from place to place, but is forced to decide whether to come out of hiding, when she learns that April may have only hours to live. She knows that if she goes to her sister's hospital bedside, she risks capture, but if she doesn't she might lose the chance to make peace with the only remaining member of her family.
