This story is about Lady Mei and her friend Sunny, a white, brown and black beagle who has lived in our senior housing complex even longer than Lady Mei. Lady Mei is a nine year old rescued mixed breed dog. The veterinarian has guessed her age. She is probably a mix of Rat Terrier, Fox Terrier and maybe Whippet. Sunny and Lady Mei have a lot of adventures along the creek together. They have been friends for a long time.This story is sad and happy. Losing a friend and making new friends is something we all do. Lady Mei tells the story of her friendship with Sunny.
