Publisher's Synopsis

Talia Tucker's ADAM, is a collection of poetry about love, loss, loneliness and other things that start with the letter "L". There are also poems about cats in it. ADAM varies in style, tone, maturity and voice as many of the pages were ripped right from her diaries spanning the last 15 years. ADAM takes you through the mind of an actual crazy person as you try to find meaning in this meaningless world full of contradictions, suffering and a third thing because lists of three sound nice. Spoiler: you won't find the meaning in this book. About the author: Talia Tucker is a writer, storyteller and sometimes a ceo based out of New Jersey. Her writing has been featured in various online publications and she has a novella being published by Running Wild Press. She also has a BA from Rutgers University and an MALS from Loyola University Maryland if you care about that sort of thing. She was born in 1991 in Washington D.C. to a Korean mother and a Jamaican father. Her mixed race inspires a lot of her writing. She was raised in Central New Jersey (yes it's a real place, she calls it Taylor Ham, and she's too far west to have a Turnpike Exit) but she's also called Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Barcelona home. Her experiences in these places live in her writing as well. Random facts about Talia: all of her furniture points towards her television, she has a portrait of Kanye West on her wall, her cat's name is Bowie.
