Publisher's Synopsis
Two of the stones had embedded pictures of the dead. One was a young, beautiful, dark-haired girl named Sophia, who was eighteen when she died. The other picture showed a light-haired boy named Kurt, also eighteen. Nancy wondered if they were twins. The parents only had the day, date and year they died-no birth date. Nancy sat on Kurt's grave, looking at his picture, her eyes drawn to his face, especially his mouth. Although the picture was tintype with color added, his lips looked puffy and swollen. Sophia's lips were also puffy and swollen, their eyes cold and distant as if lost in time. She began to feel sexually aroused sitting on this young man's grave, imagining his lips kissing hers.
