A half-zythian bard named Vanx is in chains for bedding the Duchess of Highlake. The Duke wants him dead, but his wife secretly sent their daughter to buy his freedom from the slave markets. There are wizards, ogres, wolf riding little buggers, and a plotting demon to boot. As if getting his group through the Wildwood alive wasn't a hard enough task, a humiliated duke and his mercenaries will stop at no lengths to make him dead.
