Publisher's Synopsis
There is a tree in Paulsville that draws twelve-year-old Ryan to it. It is over five hundred years old, and the moss draped over its branches makes it look spooky. The tree overlooks the gypsy community that is next to Paulsville, and while sitting in the tree, Ryan's only dream is to meet the gypsies, a dream that comes true when he meets Nuri and Jal.
But strange things start happening to Ryan's family, things that cannot be explained. Nuri's family explains that a black witch is trying to hurt them, and the gypsies invite Ryan and his family to their community. They need to understand the evil that is coming.
Will it be enough, or is it already too late?
