HE CONTINUED TO WORK ON THE BOOK UP THROUGH 1954. THOUGH NEVER COMPLETED, EDITOR DONN ALBRIGHT HAS ASSEMBLED FRAGMENTS OF THE NOVEL INTO A COHERENT WORK. THE BOOK ALSO INCLUDES 6 OTHER SHORT STORIES AND NOVELAS WRITTEN DURING THIS SAME PERIOD THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN PUBLISHED; ALL SHOWING BRAYBURY'S DARKER SIDE.
