Publisher's Synopsis
When Pablo's backyard orange tree mutates into a durian tree, the virus infects every other plant in San Diego, locking people in their homes and ending normal life. Between Pablo's bullying "friends," his divorced mom who starts acting like an animal, and his annoying younger brother Camilo, Pablo has much to handle amidst this new epidemic. Faced with a city falling apart, he and Camilo must confront the mayor with the secret they discovered that could hopefully reverse the virus.
