Publisher's Synopsis
The next in a series of stories about Gizmo and Bella, this adventure takes them to the sweater boutique, where Bella looks for a sweater that's "just right." The comparison is made between getting a sweater and finding a perfect wig. The story takes Bella to the store, and allows her to take her time trying on all the sweaters she wants to, to find the perfect one. Another little girl (this time a puppy) is in the store, crying, because she is losing her hair. She tells Bella that she is upset because she will need a sweater too. Bella brings Lucy, the beagle, a sweater just like her own, and they become fast friends. Lucy learns from Bella that being bald is an adventure, and that what's on the inside a person is much more important than what's on the outside. They become partners in helping others by keeping their eyes and ears open, giving smiles, a gentle touch, any little gesture that can help another feel better.
