Publisher's Synopsis
Composed originally in 1869, this Bruckner mass is unique in its wind ensemble accompaniment. The composer made revisions in 1882 and the new version was premiered in 1885 at the same venue of the original premiere 16 years before - the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Linz, Austria. The vocal score here is reprinted from the authoritative score by Kurt Soldan and issued by C.F. Peters in the early 20th century. The matching full score and orchestra parts are now also available from Serenissima Music.
